Planning an event is exciting, and we know every celebration is unique. Below are answers to some of the questions we hear most often. If you don't see what you're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.

Booking & Availability

  • Complete our inquiry form with your preferred event date and event details. We'll confirm availability and let you know the next steps within 24–48 hours.

  • Yes. Private venue tours are available by appointment. Tours give you the opportunity to experience the property, explore the different event spaces, and discuss your vision with us.

  • Your date is officially reserved once your venue agreement has been signed and the required initial payment has been received.

  • We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for spring, summer, and fall weekends, as popular dates tend to fill quickly.

  • We'll review your event details, confirm availability, answer any initial questions, and provide customized pricing. If XOHH is the right fit, we'll invite you to schedule a private tour before moving forward with your booking.

Pricing & Payments

  • Pricing depends on several factors, including:

    • Event type

    • Guest count

    • Rental duration

    • Areas of the property used

    • Day of the week

    • Season

    • Optional add-ons

    • Staffing requirements

    • Parking or valet needs

    Every event is customized, so we'll prepare a proposal based on your specific plans.

  • No. Your proposal clearly outlines what's included, optional add-ons, and any additional services requested.

  • Payment terms are outlined in your venue agreement and depend on the type and timing of your event.

Venue & Guest Experience

  • Yes. XOHH hosts only one event at a time, giving you and your guests complete privacy.

  • Capacity varies depending on your event layout and the areas reserved, with events accommodating up to approximately 150 guests.

  • Due to the natural hillside setting, some areas include steps, slopes, and uneven terrain. XOHH is not fully wheelchair accessible. Please contact us before booking so we can discuss your guests' specific accessibility needs.

  • Pets may be permitted with prior approval. Service animals are always welcome as required by law.

Vendors & Planning

  • Yes. You're welcome to work with your preferred professional vendors as long as they meet our venue requirements and provide the necessary insurance documentation.

  • Yes. We're happy to recommend trusted caterers, planners, florists, photographers, DJs, rental companies, and other event professionals.

  • Yes. Vendors must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before your event.

  • Yes. Coordination services are available as an optional add-on, allowing you to choose the level of support that's right for your event.

Food & Beverage

  • Yes. Professional outside caterers are welcome.

  • Yes. Alcohol may be served in accordance with venue requirements and applicable laws. Depending on your event, licensed and insured bartending services may be required.

  • XOHH does not have a commercial kitchen. The Apartment Suite kitchen is available for light food preparation and staging, while larger catering operations can utilize temporary kitchen setups through approved vendors.

Music & Entertainment

  • Yes. DJs and live entertainment are welcome with prior approval and must follow neighborhood sound guidelines.

  • Yes. XOHH includes a premium outdoor 12-speaker Sonos system that's perfect for curated playlists and background music.

Parking & Transportation

  • Yes. XOHH offers exceptional parking for a Hollywood Hills venue, including on-site parking and additional nearby street parking when needed. Larger events may require parking attendants or valet service.

  • Not always. Smaller events typically don't require valet service, while larger guest counts may benefit from or require valet for a smooth arrival experience.

  • Yes. XOHH's wide driveway makes vendor access significantly easier than many hillside venues. Large vehicles should be coordinated in advance.

Event Day

  • Additional time may be available when arranged in advance or approved on the day of your event. Overtime charges may apply.

  • Because XOHH is primarily an outdoor venue, tenting is required whenever rain is forecast. We'll help coordinate the logistics so your event can proceed as smoothly as possible.

  • Vendor access may begin as early as 8:00 AM, unless otherwise specified in the signed agreement. All setup, the event, and breakdown must take place within the contracted rental period. Unless otherwise approved in writing, all guests, vendors, and equipment must be off the property by 11:00 PM.

Venue Policies

  • Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.

  • Certain candles and decorative lighting may be permitted with prior approval. Open flames must comply with venue safety requirements.

  • No. These items are not permitted to help protect the property and surrounding landscape.
